Responsible for driving toward Enterprise Technology strategic objectives through thought leadership, organizational design, management and execution of an SLT-designated core function(s) or program(s). Provides oversight and accountability for Enterprise Technology-wide projects/programs of varying size up to and including enterprise transformational initiatives. Influences and leads large-scale change initiatives utilizing ITIL processes. Key contributor in developing financial realization measures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive continual improvement strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

  2. Lead cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address them.

  3. Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools to analyze processes, identify root causes of inefficiencies, and recommend solutions.

  4. Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities to promote a culture of continuous improvement.

  5. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of improvement initiatives.

  6. Monitor progress, track performance metrics, and provide regular updates to senior management on the status of improvement projects.

  7. Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure buy-in and support for improvement efforts.

  8. Drive change management activities to ensure successful implementation and sustainability of improvement initiatives.

  9. Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in continual improvement methodologies.

  10. Coach and mentor employees on continual improvement principles and techniques to build internal capabilities.

Directs and oversees financial management, organizational planning, and design, planning and coordination of Enterprise Technology-wide program or programs.

  1. Directs organizational efforts to partner closely with LOB/function managers and subject matter experts to develop program design, plan, metrics, and execution strategy. Ensures that business cases are developed for budgeting, planning, and tracking revenue and/or expense.

  2. Directs and oversees relationships with business owners and technology leads to support overall program needs.

  3. Ensures implementation and oversight of appropriate risk management plans for program initiatives in area of responsibility.

  4. Monitors and challenges performance of current systems and processes. Identifies and advocates for solutions designed to deliver value and mitigate risk as appropriate.

  5. Analyzes and collectively manages variances to the program plan and overall portfolio and makes recommendation and/or creates action plan to mitigate negative variances or to resolve issues.

  6. Articulates overall performance of multiple programs and initiatives via dashboard reporting for use by key executives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications

  1. Advanced degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  2. Eight years progressive related experience in managing enterprise technology organizations combined with overall twelve years progressive related experience in enterprise technology.

  3. Demonstrated experience in technology organization management, financial management, risk management, people management, issue resolution, influencing team members and other stakeholders, conducting difficult negotiations and managing to stringent timelines for project deliverables.

  4. Demonstrated superior understanding of business and technology organization, resources, priorities, needs and policies.

  5. Demonstrated leadership in the implementation of complex programs and projects.

  6. Ability to bring clarity to ambiguous assignments.

  7. Demonstrated executive level verbal and written communication skills.

  8. Superior working knowledge of business matters, finance, planning, and forecasting.

  9. Strong skills in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, Project)

Preferred Qualifications
  1. Advanced degree in a relevant field of work (eg, MBA). PMP and/or PgMP.

  2. Certification in Lean Six Sigma (eg, Green Belt, Black Belt).

  3. Proven experience leading and managing continuous improvement projects in a corporate environment.

  4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze data to identify improvement opportunities.

  5. Highly articulate with excellent written and interpersonal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

  6. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  7. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving measurable outcomes.

  8. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  9. Passion for driving change and making a positive impact on organizational performance.

  10. Experience in enterprise technology organizational leadership.

  11. Experience implementing large/complex initiatives across a matrix organization.

  12. In-depth knowledge of management and planning systems theory and practical application to complex initiatives.

  13. Experience with financial measurements and metrics.

  14. Financial Services or banking experience specifically financial services technology experience highly beneficial.

  15. Experience implementing large/complex initiatives across a matrix organization.

  16. Demonstrates executive presence.
