As a Sr. Manager, ME (Manufacturing Engineering) at the Idaho HVM site, you will build an outstanding team to drive manufacturing capability to scale in the newest Memory Fab in the United States!

You will implement this by focusing on manufacturing big rock performance optimization, ensuring priorities are aligned to Micron business plan and/or Strategic Objective requirements across manufacturing sites. Your objective is to use global internal and external resources to define and enable equipment, yield, and output performance to achieve world-class manufacturing results. Examples include building a strong team of equipment, process, and operations Technicians/Engineers that achieve KPI's to deliver on our commitments.

This position requires collaborating with Technology Development, Process & Equipment Engineering, Facilities as well as our global network of manufacturing sites. You must support effective collaboration across all geographies and departments, and external suppliers as well as international travel, as required.

• Finishing the required safety training and ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with Micron safety policies while promoting a positive work environment.
• Developing the strategic vision for your department and prioritizing (time, team members) as needed to accomplish that vision.
• Developing bold performance targets and ensuring line-of-sight goals are communicated to your team members.
• Driving fab optimization, max output and yield while reducing operation cost and maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Partners with Process & Equipment Engineering and Industrial Engineering teams to validate capacity that will achieve required wafers per day.
• Support department business processes for new tool installations, as well as existing tool modifications/relocations/removals.
• Partnering with other 300 mm counterparts and our central teams to identify and use global best-known methods.
• Addressing large audiences, executives, and technology authorities on complex topics
• Knowing Micron People policies and partnering closely with People organization
• Ensuring you area of responsibility has succession plans for all key positions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Consistent track record leading small and large teams toward common goals with successful track record of prior leadership.
• Set and measure short and long-range goals for a large team or department.
• Demonstrated success in leading teams and defining and solving complicated problems.
• Proven ability leading multiple complex projects.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing team structure, standards, and processes

Bachelor's or higher in a science-related field with previous leadership experience and a minimum of 5 years direct semiconductor experience.
